The Climate Solutions Now Act passed the Maryland General Assembly in time for a veto override this session. Now we know there will be critical next steps this week.
On Saturday April 9, as we head into the last 72 hours of session, we’ll have one of these two messages:
1) We hope it will be a celebration of what we’ve been able to accomplish this year and a charge of what MUST happen in the next General Assembly term;
OR
2) We will be urgently asking our legislators to override a veto of the Climate Solutions Now Act. No matter what, we need to come together to take action.
Join our Saturday April 9 rally in Annapolis.
Who: You and other climate leaders and activists across Maryland
What: A rally to either 1) celebrate our wins and declare the next steps to save our planet OR 2) push for final action on Climate Solutions Now this session
When: Saturday, April 9 at 2:30 PM (yes, we’re certain the legislators will be there!)
