We advocate for public policies

that fight climate change across our region and beyond.

NATIONAL

The US recently became the world’s largest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG), which means record amounts of the powerful greenhouse gas methane are leaking all over the world. We need to stop LNG expansion now!

DC

We’re pressuring the DC Public Service Commission (PSC) to REJECT WGL’s multi-billion dollar pollution plan. WGL intends to spend $4.5 billion ratepayer dollars on polluting methane gas infrastructure.

MARYLAND

This year's Maryland General Assembly session came to a close with decidedly mixed results for climate policies. Victories included legislation for offshore wind power, rooftop solar and energy efficiency but there were losses, too.

VIRGINIA

The 2024 legislative session wrapped and, with a new climate majority in the General Assembly, it was largely successful! But we're not done fighting for clean energy and climate justice - bills are still awaiting Gov. Youngkin's signature.

We're Passing Climate Policies in Virginia

With a new climate majority in the General Assembly, climate action is on the docket.
